Business Development Manager - Europe (m/f/d)

Our client is a U.S.-based specialist in precision components (stamping, plastic injection moulding, and assembly), which was established in 1961 and operates multiple production sites across several continents. As part of an internationally listed corporate group, the company is aiming to expand its European business and preparing for an upcoming leadership succession. We are therefore seeking an entrepreneurial, technically adept individual (m/f/d) with a strong sales drive who will independently build, develop, and sustainably grow the company's European business. The position is fully home-office based and reports directly to the Group COO.

• Strategic and operational development of the European business, with P&L responsibility

• Managing and expanding the existing customer base, as well as acquiring new OEM customers in Europe

• Independently preparing, negotiating, and following up on proposals and customer projects through to the start of series production

• Close collaboration with engineering, production, and management at the international locations in Asia and the Americas

• Market analysis and identification of concrete growth initiatives to implement the European strategy

• A completed technical degree or technical training, e.g., in mechanical engineering, plastics technology, or manufacturing engineering

• In-depth understanding of industrial manufacturing processes, ideally stamping technology, plastic injection moulding, or assembly

• Strong sales aptitude with a proven track record of success in managing and acquiring OEM customers in an international B2B environment

• High degree of self-organization and entrepreneurial initiative

• Fluency in German and English, as well as a strong willingness to travel internationally
